can i use Vietnamese butter Roasted Coffee in an espresso machine?

I have a new Delonghi coffee machine and I also have some Vietnamese Coffee which has a delicious hazelnut taste. I used to mix it with Italian Coffee Grounds and use it in my old espresso machine.
I guess I am concerned because the Vietnamese coffee I have is butter roasted. Don't want to gum anything up.

Roasting Coffee Beans will determine the taste. Espresso Coffee Bean is darker then normal roasted coffee bean.
